Day 1
Saturday
Shalom Yisrael! Welcome to the Holy Land, welcome home. Guests will arrive by schedule and will be greeted by a member of our TAILGATE team. After hotel check-in, you are free to explore the vibrant city of Tel Aviv including the beach, and Old Yaffa. These are walking distance from our hotel. Even on Shabbat, many stores will be open in the city. A TAILGATE Team member will be available to guide you.
For guests who wish to arrive on an earlier day, we can assist you in making travel arrangements if you wish.
All guests are asked to arrive in Tel Aviv by 5pm on this day.
Our trip officially begins at our festive welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2
Sunday
Our day begins with a guided tour of Old Yaffa. This is the ancient port city from which Tel Aviv grew. It is filled with galleries, cafes, restaurants, bars, and night clubs.
We then venture to the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation founded by the Nobel Peace Laureate and former President of Israel, Shimon Peres. The center presents multi-media and interactive exhibits on peace-building area such as agriculture, economics, medicine and information technology.
Next you will have time to enjoy the bustling Carmel Market filled with vendors of all sorts and plenty of options for lunch and then explore the surrounding streets and neighborhoods for some great shopping.
Enjoy a free evening to take advantage of Tel Aviv's amazing restaurant scene and maybe an evening stroll on the Promenade.

Day 3
Monday
Today we bid farewell to Tel Aviv and journey to the North.
Our day begins with a guided tour of the ruins of the Roman port city of Caesarea, named in honor of Augustus Caesar. When this ancient city was originally constructed, it had an artificial harbor of large concrete blocks and typical Hellenistic-Roman public buildings. An aqueduct brought water from springs located almost 10 miles (16 km) to the northeast. Caesarea served as a base during the time of King Herod the Great through the time of the Crusaders.
We then invite you to lunch at one of local wineries.
Finally we continue to our beautiful resort in the Galilee. You are welcome to enjoy the pool, fitness center, and other amenities offered.
We will dine together at our resort's delicious restaurant.

Day 4
Tuesday
Our day begins with a visit to Mount Ben Tal where we will enjoy sweeping views of the Golan, Syria, and Lebanon. We will also learn of the heroic battles fought here and its strategic importance to the region.
Then off to the mystical and ancient city of Tzfat, which is also the highest city in the Galilee. Tzfat is known for its rich history, art galleries, hand-made crafts, distilleries, and more.
You will enjoy time to shop and have lunch at one of the many food vendors.
Our day concludes with a festive dinner at a local winery and then time to relax and socialize at our resort.

Day 5
Wednesday: October 7
Our time centers around the sobering memorials to the October 7 attack. You will spend some introspective moments at the NOVA festival site to appreciate the personal stories that pay tribute to the young men and women who lost their lives here. We will also visit the town of Sderot and its awe-inspiring memorial to its fallen.
We will depart for Jerusalem to enjoy a free evening.

Day 6
Thursday
Today we rise very early for our journey to Masada. the historic mountain fortress, build by Herod the Great as a refuge. It boats panoramic views of the Dead Sea, Jordan, and the Judean desert. While atop this wonder, we will tour its ruins and learn of the tragic story of this inhabitants. You may either hike up its 1500 foot elevation or take the cable car.
After our decent by cable car, we will have lunch and then visit the Dead Sea to soak in it's salty and healing waters. Mud included! You will have the opportunity to shower before we depart.
We then venture to Eretz B'reshit for a one-of-a-kind dinner hosted by none other than Abraham.
Enjoy a camel ride to his welcoming tents followed by a delicious meal.
Then it's off to Jerusalem for a free evening. Thursday nights come alive in the Holy City as the work week comes to an end. Perhaps a trip to Machane Yehuda to sample its bars and food vendors.

Friday
This morning we take a guided walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem. After visiting the Kotel (Wailing Wall), the Kotel tunnel, the Roman Cardo, and many other sites of interest, you will have plenty of time for yourself to shop and eat as we prepare for Shabbat.
Join us for a very festive Shabbat dinner at our hotel.

Saturday
Enjoy Shabbat in the Holy City and relax! Breakfast and lunch are at your leisure and included at our hotel.
Feel free to sleep-in, relax by the pool, have a leisurely stroll through the streets of the Old City, or attend services at one of the many synagogues throughout the city.

Sunday
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we begin our final day with a fully guided tour of the world-renowned Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem, A short hike follows to Har Herzl Cemetery to visit the gravesites of Israel’s soldiers, past leaders, and of course, Theodore Herzl.
You will have time to have lunch and finish any shopping before we depart for our farewell dinner at the Gush Etzion Winery.
Then to our final destination: Ben Gurion Airport.
For guests returning home, airport transportation is included. For guests who wish to stay longer, we are happy to help make hotel and transportation arrangements for you, but these will be at your own cost.

Our day begins with a walking tour of Old Jaffa, the ancient city port from which Tel Aviv has grown. Amble the winding streets and visit historic sites, art galleries, shops, and restaurants.
We next visit the acclaimed Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, for a guided multi-media experience that highlights Israeli innovations in healthcare, security, agriculture, and hi-tech.
Afterward we stop at Carmel Market for free time to shop and enjoy the many food vendors.
A free evening allows you to dine at one of the many outstanding local restaurants and explore this vibrant city after dark.

Day 3
Monday
Today we depart Tel Aviv and begin our journey to Northern Israel.
On our first stop we will visit the historic, Herodian-era port city of Caesarea.
We will enjoy lunch at the XXX Winery.
As we travel to our final destination in the Galilee, take in the beautiful scenery and history of the land.
After hotel check-in, enjoy the fitness center or relax and the pool.

Day 4
Tuesday
Our morning begins with a visit to Mount BenTal etc....
We then travel to the ancient and spiritual city of Tzfat. After our guided walking tour, you will have the opportunity to eat lunch and shop at one of the many vendors for art, jewelry, candles, and wine and spirits.
Ladies will have the opportunity to visit the Tzfat Women's mikvah, while the men will take a dunk the Ariyeh men's mikvah.
Our day ends with a festive dinner at a local winery.

Friday
We begin our day with a full tour of the world-renowned Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem, including the Hall of Remembrances and the Valley of the Communities. A short hike follows to visit Har Herzl Cemetary to visit the gravesites of Israel’s soldiers, past leaders, and of course, Theodore Herzl.
The remainder of the afternoon will be free to shop and eat and prepare for Shabbat.
We will meet again at the Kotel for Kabbalat Shabbat and then for a festive Shabbat dinner.

Saturday
Enjoy Shabbat in the Holy City and relax. Breakfast and lunch at your leisure.
Feel free to sleep-in, relax by the pool, have a leisurely stroll through the streets of the Old City, or attend services at one of the many shuls throughout the city.
Then, after lunch join us for a unique walking tour of Jerusalem neighborhoods.
As Shabbat draws to a close, we will celebrate with a special Havdalah service led by Rabbi Shaya.
Explore the city and its restaurants even more during your free evening in Jerusalem.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Tower of David light and sound show.

Sunday
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we will start our final day with a visit the Caliber 3 IDF training facility for hands-on defensive training.
Then off to Tel Aviv where you will have the afternoon free to eat and shop at Carmel Market, visit area museums such as the Palmach and Anu, explore the city or relax on the beach. Optional walking tours will be available and will occur depending on participation.
Our final dinner will take place at a local restaurant before departing for Ben Gurion Airport.
For guests returning home, airport transportation is included. For guests who wish to stay longer, we are happy to help make hotel and transportation arrangements for you, but these will be at your own cost.
